💜 Yesterday, we dropped our girl off at college.*💜
And just like that… the moment we’ve been preparing for, praying for, and maybe secretly wishing would slow down just a little, was here.
My heart is overflowing with pride for the young woman she has become. I’m SO excited to watch her step into this next chapter, chase her dreams, make new memories, and discover all that this season has in store for her.
But I won’t lie… leaving her was hard. Really hard. There’s something about driving away and realizing your child is beginning a life that doesn’t need you quite as much that hits a little differently.
Yet underneath the tears was something else—peace. Because she is ready. She is excited. She is stepping into this new season with confidence, faith, and so much potential.
My prayer is that God goes before her, protects her, surrounds her with good people, gives her wisdom and courage, and continually reminds her that she is never alone. That she follows Him, trusts Him, and knows that no matter how far away she is, she will always have a home, a family, and parents cheering her on every step of the way.
So yesterday, we let go… with full hearts and open hands. 💜
Go chase those dreams, sweet girl.
Make memories.
Try new things.
Be brave.
Grow.
Laugh.
Love big.
And always remember where you came from.
We love you more than words can say, and we cannot wait to watch all that God has planned for you.
They say the hardest part of raising them is learning when to let them fly. 🦅💜
College, here she comes! 🎓💜
