✨ Two closings, writing two different chapters ✍🏽 🔑

Watched one awesome family close the door on 2102 NE 17th St for the last time, headed to their new construction home to make new memories. Shortly thereafter, the sweetest young couple opened that same door for the first time — first home, new beginnings in a new city, together.🏡 🥰

25 years later, I can still remember exactly how that morning felt.

I was a junior at NDSU, walking to campus from my apartment like it was any other day. When we walked through the student union, we saw people gathered around the TVs. And then I saw the tears. The disbelief. The fear.

We stood together, watching our nation change forever.

I’ll never forget the heaviness of that day—or the way our country came together in the days that followed. Ordinary people became heroes. Neighbors became family. And we were reminded how fragile life truly is.

Today, I remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave men and women who ran toward danger to help others.

And I’m especially grateful for the freedom, family, faith, and community we are blessed to have.

25 years later.
We remember. We honor. We pray. 🇺🇸🙏🏼
