Your furniture may be innocent, but the "everything against the wall" layout can make a room feel like a waiting area. 🙂
A better approach: arrange furniture around the room’s purpose. In a living room, let seating face each other or a shared focal point, with a clear path to walk through.
If space allows, pull the sofa or chairs a little away from the walls. Even a small amount of breathing room can make a layout feel more intentional and inviting.
Quick tip: stand in the doorway and check whether the path through the room is obvious and uncluttered.
What furniture arrangement works best in your home—and what have you tried that definitely did not?
