Thinking about selling this year—even if it's not until later this summer or fall? 🏡

One of the biggest mistakes I see homeowners make is waiting until they're ready to list before they start preparing.

The best time to start is actually now.

A few simple things to consider:
✔ Tackle deferred repairs a little at a time
✔ Start decluttering closets and storage areas
✔ Make a list of upgrades you've completed over the years
✔ Gather important home documents and warranties

With longer daylight hours, it's easier to fit home tours into busy schedules after work, summer activities, and family commitments.

Many families are also beginning their home search now so they're settled before the new school year begins.

One simple way to keep the house a little calmer?

Create a designated "drop zone" for wet towels, muddy shoes, and sports gear before they make it through the whole house.

A simple bench, basket, or hook system can save a lot of cleanup and make busy summer days run a little smoother.

Rocket City summer nights are one of the best parts of living here 🎶🌳

One of my favorite traditions is Concerts in the Park at Big Spring International Park. Free live music, lawn chairs, family picnics, and a great community atmosphere—it doesn't get much more Huntsville than that. The 2026 series kicked off earlier this week and runs Monday evenings throughout the summer.

As a mom, I love simple, low-key ways to enjoy our community and spend time together outdoors.
