💙 Finding Stability for Her Growing Family
When Nafitia and her 7-year-old daughter came to Nicholas House, they had recently experienced homelessness after leaving a domestic violence situation. Five months pregnant and determined to create a stable future for her growing family, Nafitia had one major goal: to find a home before her baby arrived.
While staying at our Boulevard Shelter, Nafitia continued working and taking steps toward permanent housing with the support of her case manager. She was soon referred to our Homeless to Homes Rapid Re-Housing program, and by the end of February, Nafitia and her daughter had moved into an apartment of their own. 🏠💙
Today, Nafitia continues working toward long-term housing stability and building the future she envisioned for her family.
