“No matter your income. No matter your zip code. No matter your circumstances in life… You should have what you need to live well,” said Mayor Andre Dickens at the grand opening of Gateway Center’s new AT&T Learning Center.
For Gateway, “what you need to live well” goes beyond a bed or a meal. It means having access to the tools, resources, dignity, and support that can help someone move from experiencing homelessness toward stability.
And the fact that Mayor Andre Dickens said it at the opening of the AT&T Learning Center makes the message even more powerful. The center represents a very tangible example of that belief: access to technology, education, digital skills, career resources, and opportunity should be available to people experiencing homelessness, too.
