The campus will span over 20 acres in the historic neighborhood of LaVilla. The graduate campus will have programs in areas such as health care, business and emerging technologies. A large emphasis has been placed on engineering and technologies β€” like A.I. and cybersecurity β€” to advance Jacksonville's future workforce.

The University of Florida has selected a Virginia-based development firm to lead the nearly $287.5 million first phase of its new graduate campus in downtown Jacksonville, following a competitive bidding process that began last fall.
