Homeowner Tip Tuesday | Pool Maintenance 💦

🍂 Pool season may be winding down, but pool maintenance isn’t! A little fall & winter care can make a BIG difference when it’s time to jump back in—or when you’re getting your home ready to list next spring! Here are our top 5 fall/winter pool maintenance tips:

1. Keep the leaves out — Falling leaves can stain pool surfaces and throw off your water chemistry.

2. Don’t stop checking your water — Even when you aren’t swimming, keep an eye on pH, alkalinity & sanitizer levels.

3. Clean filters & baskets — Especially during peak leaf season!

4. Watch the water level — Cooler weather doesn’t mean your pool can’t lose water.

5. Protect your equipment when temperatures drop — Freezing weather can cause expensive damage to pumps, filters & plumbing.

While fall and winter usually require less maintenance, don’t completely forget about your pool until spring. A little work now can mean clearer water, fewer surprises, and less work later.

And because this is Georgia… we may put away the floats in October, but you never really know when pool weather might make a comeback for a day or two. 😂☀️
