Good evening wonderful people.
Today is a Special Day for Kelly's Captures. Today the Premier of a film I had the absolute honor of participating in has been released for the world to see.
Stories From Capon Bridge is a documentary that will take you deep into the heart of small-town life, and ot reveals that small town life has the power to impact the nation.
This film is produced by Richard Anderson, and I had the pleasure of being his number 2 in the field with my drone.
As a drone pilot, it's projects like this that make all the work worth it.
I'll post photo's and clips from the film soon.
I'm sending out a special thank you to everyone who supports my work, and everyone who inspires me to continue pressing forward.

Many wander through life unable to discern their own radiance,
not because the light within them is faint,
but because the surrounding shadows roar with false authority.
Yet remember — darkness is never your equal, and you do not negotiate with it.

You carry the imprint of the unsearchable Creator —
a beauty untouched by decay,
a wisdom older than language,
a power woven from realms unseen.

So when darkness rises like a tidal wave,
when it presses against your mind,
your breath,
your becoming…

Awaken your light.

Not the light you curate for approval,
but the sacred brilliance God concealed in your depths —
the light no shadow can decipher, diminish, or withstand.

Darkness only prevails when you forget your divine architecture.
But the moment you remember…
the moment you ignite that inner flame…
the wave collapses,
the shadows scatter,
and the night bows to the radiance you were crafted to carry.

Your light was never fragile.
It was forged for moments exactly like this.

Oh dark night…
you come dressed in shadows,
moving like you own the atmosphere around me,
as if your silence could smother the breath
God Himself placed in my lungs.

You think you can swallow my vision,
bend my spirit,
quench the flame He lit inside my chest.
But hear me—
even in your darkest hour,
there burns an eternal light
that you cannot dim,
cannot touch,
cannot command.

For in your stillness,
I found revelation.
In your pressure,
I found instruction.
You became the quiet sanctuary
where God uncovered the wounds I buried,
the truths I avoided,
the places in me He was ready to restore.

And the longer I sat in your darkness,
the clearer it became:
you were never my captor.
You were the canvas
for the glory rising in me.

You are weak.
You are powerless.
You are only the threshold
to my transformation.

So let this be known—
Dark night, I am forever held in His light.
And the deeper your shadows fall,

There comes a moment when the heart simply understands: not every place will receive you, not every community will recognize your light. And somehow, that realization settles gently — not with bitterness, but with a soft, steady peace.

For two years, I’ve wandered through this town with my camera, capturing its quiet beauty so others could see it from a different angle — through my own artistic, soulful perspective. It has truly been an honor to witness this place in all its seasons.

I hoped to create alongside other local artists, to weave something beautiful together for the people here. Instead, I was met with distance, rejection, and at times, a coldness that spoke louder than the love many claim to hold. I felt it deeply, and I accept it fully.

So this is my final offering to you, Romney — a closing reflection, a last gift.

I may have been overlooked. I may have been dismissed. But I walk forward with a quieter strength, a clearer spirit, and a deeper peace.

Because even in rejection, I found myself.

Standing before these darkened cliffs, it’s easy to feel the heaviness settle in—the kind that mirrors the quiet battles we never speak aloud. Depression can feel like this landscape: towering, cold, unmoving. A place where shadows linger longer than they should.
Even in the darkest valleys, the light refuses to give up on us.
It slips through the clouds, touches the cold stone, and reminds us that shadows don’t get the final say.
Depression may feel immovable, but the light keeps reaching—quietly, steadily—until we remember we were never meant to stay in the dark, and with every small glimmer, we rise a little more.
