After Monday 9/7, EVERY BOAT that enters Maranacook will do so unchecked for Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS). Please make sure your friends, neighbors and visitors know the importance of clean, drain, dry before they enter Maranacook Lake. Not following clean, drain, dry protocols could mean transferring AIS from a lake close by or another state into Maranacook Lake. It only takes 1 fragment to have long lasting, devastating effects on Maranacook. Maranacook currently maintains its status of having no known AIS. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer CBI please reach out and if you are already a trained CBI feel free to volunteer at either boat launch ANYTIME after Monday.
