Gone to Texas Real Estate

Gone to Texas Real Estate Gone to Texas Real Estate partners with our clients to be your advocate, advisor and fiduciary agent from our first meeting all the way to the closing table.

Gone to Texas Real Estate is a client-focused, rather than agent-focused, brokerage. This means we are service-minded from the first conversation all the way to the closing table and beyond. We want to get to know the people with whom we work so we can learn how we can best serve them and be their advocate throughout the home-buying process. Real estate is a trust relationship between the home buy

er and their agent and broker. We take this trust seriously and realize that finding a home here is only one leg of the relocation journey. We partner with trusted professionals who are equally committed to helping people with the many decisions they are making, including their mortgage, homeowners insurance and moving services. Real estate is an ever-changing landscape, especially in one of the top places in the country to move. As major employers realize that Austin is a great place for business, they are relocating employees here and attracting new ones. This high demand for housing presents obvious challenges as our market strives to provide adequate options. Additionally, interest rates are slowly increasing. Even with these challenges, we tap into programs and strategies that help people find their home and transition from renting to owning. It is worth the work to help people make this life-changing decision that establishes stronger financial security for a lifetime. Working with first-time home buyers, empty nesters and seasoned investors, Gone to Texas Real Estate works hard to locate properties and negotiate the terms to win the offer and close the deal. In our challenging market, where a shortage of inventory and a surplus of buyers regularly create multiple offer scenarios, we wear the boots on the ground to help our clients land their ideal home and their own piece of Texas. We are also committed to serving our community by supporting education and beautification projects. We live here, too, and want Austin and the surrounding communities to thrive. Lesly Rascoe, native Texan and broker and owner of Gone to Texas Real Estate, volunteers at Save Austin’s Cemeteries, an organization devoted to preserving the rich heritage of our city and state. She loves sharing her city and serves as a tour guide for Austin City Running Tours, which hosts people visiting Austin for business conventions on runs downtown and along the river. She also serve as a literacy partner at a local elementary school and sponsors reading programs and book sharing through REALTORS® for Reading, a program founded by Gone to Texas Real Estate.

Make yourself at home on this lightly restricted piece of Texas in Leander ISD. Stretch out and create your own sanctuary at Sandy Creek Ranches in a rural setting not too far out from nearby Cedar Park and Leander. Natural trees create a rustic backdrop for a weekend getaway. Creekside location places this parcel in the floodplain. This acreage offers a piece of land that is flexible and well-suited for a buy-and-hold investment or a place to create a recreational respite away from town. No HOA, no commercial use and plenty of ground space. Electricity, sewer and water available.

The spring market was stable with an increase in home sales in April following early-year mortgage rate dip. The market remains by definition fairly balanced - yet buyers are experiencing more leverage in negotiations as homes stay on the market longer and prices drop marginally.
