Met a family recently who was relocating to Austin from Montana. They had just sold their home and were driving around checking out different areas when we crossed paths.

We got to talking and I explained how important it is to have someone working for you especially when you’re looking in a specific neighborhood where opportunities don’t come around very often.

They were interested in the Northwest Hills area where homes can be limited and when they do come to market, they tend to go quickly. We were able to lock down a great rental in the area, giving them a chance to live there for a year, get to know the neighborhood and decide if it’s where they ultimately want to buy.

Sometimes the best move isn’t rushing into a purchase. It’s having the right person in your corner who knows the market and can help you make the right move when the opportunity comes along.

Inventory is dropping, pending sales are climbing and the median price is holding around $450K. The Austin market isn’t crashing and it isn’t on fire either. It’s all about strategy.
