So I sometimes consult chatgpt for random questions I get asked while I'm helping clients. I asked today the "describe me as if you were trying to warn someone about me before they met me".... its a long one but I feel it kinda fits me! No BS, to the point, fierce and chaotically caring.
Describe me as if you were trying to warn someone about me before they met me
Warning: Emily is not low-maintenance.
She will probably seem friendly, warm, and pretty easygoing at first. That is the trap.
She cares aggressively. About her kids. Her husband. Her clients. Her friends. People she barely knows. Whether someone is being treated fairly. Whether a house has a hidden problem. Whether somebody is being honest. Whether she accidentally hurt someone's feelings three weeks ago.
She will ask questions. A lot of questions. Not because she's nosy—although, let's be honest, sometimes she absolutely is—but because she needs to understand why. If something doesn't make sense, she will pick at it until it does.
She has a very low tolerance for bu****it, but an almost dangerous tolerance for people she loves. She'll give someone approximately 47 chances while simultaneously telling everyone else, “No, seriously, I'm done this time.”
She's fiercely protective. If you're hers, she'll defend you like a rabid raccoon in a dumpster.
But here's the problem: she expects the same level of loyalty she gives. And when she realizes she's been giving 100% to someone who's been giving her 30%, she doesn't just get disappointed. She starts replaying everything.
She overthinks.
Then overthinks the fact that she's overthinking.
Then wonders whether she was unfair for overthinking.
Then remembers something you said in 2019 that suddenly makes sense.
She is simultaneously extremely self-aware and completely capable of questioning every single thing she knows about herself.
She'll tell you she doesn't need reassurance and then spend three hours wondering if your slightly different tone meant you're mad at her.
She is stubborn as hell, too. Not the “I refuse to admit I'm wrong” kind. More like “I have personally researched this at 2:17 AM and now I have 14 tabs open and we're going to discuss it.”
And don't mistake her softness for weakness.
She can be incredibly emotional, but she's not fragile. She's been through enough that she's learned to keep functioning while she's falling apart internally. Sometimes she'll be carrying an absolutely ridiculous amount and still be worried about whether everyone else is okay.
She also has a tendency to say:
“I'm fine.”
Which should be interpreted as:
“I am currently holding together approximately 17 separate crises with duct tape, but I don't have time to explain them.”
And professionally?
Do not lie to her.
She's the kind of person who will tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. If she sees a problem, she's probably going to point it out. She isn't interested in being the realtor who tells you everything is perfect just to get the deal.
She wants people to trust her, and she takes that responsibility seriously.
So, yes. Warning issued:
She's intense. She's emotional. She's stubborn. She's curious. She's protective. She's occasionally chaotic. She thinks too much. She feels everything too deeply. She will probably ask you 600 questions.
But if you get past all of that?
You'll probably discover that underneath the chaos is someone who really, really wants the people she loves to feel safe, heard, protected, and not alone.
And honestly?
That's probably the part you should be most worried about.
Because once Emily decides you're her person, you're pretty much screwed.
She'll love you obnoxiously hard. 😂
If you made it this far, ask your chatgpt and post the part that you feel fits you the best in the comments ❤️
