As for the market, the end of the summer selling season tends to reveal a seller’s true motivation, and we’re seeing that reflected in price reductions. I’ve seen reductions ranging from $5,000 to several million dollars. As you can see from the market stats below, Aspen remains relatively flat, with movement in the $20+ million market, while Snowmass is beginning to show signs of life again after a slow July. Basalt continues to be stable. Carbondale and Glenwood Springs continue to be bright spots.

July Market Stats for your review.
Aspen is just booming with the average sales price over $18 million.
Snowmass Village had no sales activity.
Basalt through Glenwood springs’s volume, average sales price and price per square footage are all down with the exception of average sales price in Glenwood has increased to over $1.2 million. Each segment of the market tells its own story - ask me about the value of your home!
