Meet the team. First up is our very own Traci Roy Adams
Mortgage Professional | Community Leader | Relationship Builder | Advocate for Smarter Homeownership
Traci Roy Adams is a mortgage professional, entrepreneur, community leader, and relationship builder who believes that business is ultimately about people. Through her work in the mortgage industry and her involvement in professional and civic organizations, Traci has built her career around educating others, connecting people, and helping clients make confident financial decisions.
As a mortgage professional with Key Lending Solutions, Traci takes a relationship-first approach to home financing. She believes a mortgage should never be treated as simply an online transaction or an order to be processed. While technology has made lending more convenient, Traci believes clients still need someone who will listen to their goals, ask the right questions, evaluate their complete financial picture, explain their options, anticipate potential problems, and advocate for them throughout the process.
Her professional philosophy is reflected in Key Lending Solutions’ message: “Experience the Difference.”
Traci is particularly passionate about helping clients who may not fit neatly into a traditional lending scenario. She has a strong interest in helping women and homeowners navigating significant financial transitions, including divorce, home renovations, refinancing, debt consolidation, and other strategic financial decisions. She believes that people in their 40s, 50s, and beyond often have financial opportunities they may not realize are available to them.
Educating Rather Than Selling
One of Traci’s greatest strengths is her ability to make complicated mortgage and financial concepts understandable.
She enjoys educating consumers about the homebuying process, credit, debt-to-income ratios, closing costs, refinancing, condominium financing, and the many factors that can affect loan approval. Rather than simply telling someone what they qualify for, she wants clients to understand why they qualify, what their options are, and how different choices could affect their long-term financial position.
Traci frequently emphasizes the difference between an online “order taker” and a mortgage professional who actually evaluates and vets the transaction. Her goal is to help put clients in the best possible financial position—not simply to close a loan.
She particularly enjoys helping people who initially say, “I didn’t know they could buy.” For Traci, those moments represent the power of education and creative problem-solving.
A Connector in the Business Community
Traci is deeply involved in the business and civic communities and believes that strong communities are built through relationships.
Her professional and community involvement has included BNI, including Business Boomers BNI, ABWA LaCapitale Chapter, and Rotary of East Ascension. Through these organizations, Traci has developed relationships with business owners, professionals, community leaders, and people who share her commitment to serving others.
Her involvement in Rotary reflects her belief that professional success and community service should go hand in hand. She values opportunities to support local communities, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to organizations whose purpose extends beyond business.
Traci also enjoys bringing energy, creativity, and humor to professional organizations. She believes networking should be about more than exchanging business cards. It should be about getting to know people, understanding what they do, finding ways to help one another, and creating genuine connections.
A Passion for Helping Women
An important part of Traci’s professional focus is helping women become more confident when making financial and housing decisions.
Whether a client is purchasing a home, refinancing, renovating, consolidating debt, or navigating a major life change, Traci believes the process should begin with education rather than pressure.
She wants clients to feel comfortable asking questions and understanding the financial implications of their choices. Her goal is to be the person clients can call when they don’t know where to start.
Creative, Energetic & Community-Minded
Outside of the traditional mortgage role, Traci is known for her creativity and willingness to think differently.
She enjoys developing memorable presentations, marketing ideas, networking activities, charitable events, and educational programs. She brings a combination of business experience, humor, practicality, and creativity to everything she does.
Whether she is explaining a mortgage guideline, preparing a BNI presentation, organizing a community project, or brainstorming a new way to connect people, Traci approaches the challenge with enthusiasm and a desire to make an impact.
Her Philosophy
Traci believes that people deserve more than a mortgage transaction. They deserve a professional who will listen, educate, advocate, and genuinely care about helping them reach their goals.
Her approach is simple:
Listen first. Educate second. Find the right solution.
For Traci, success isn’t measured solely by the number of loans closed. It is measured by the trust she earns, the people she helps, the relationships she builds, and the difference she makes in the communities she serves.
At the center of everything she does is a belief that relationships matter—and that when people have the right information and the right person in their corner, they can make better financial decisions
