💗 Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund: has provided nearly all of the equipment used to detect breast cancer at Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital Breast Centers
💗 Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center: offers one-on-one support to anyone affected by breast cancer in Alabama and Mississippi, from Gulf Shores to North Alabama
💗 Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition: a Nashville-based nonprofit supporting people affected by breast cancer across Tennessee
💗 Power of Pink Fund: helps cover breast cancer care in Rutherford County, including rides to and from oncology appointments

Our Central Region team is thinking pink this October!

Breast cancer touches so many families across the Northshore, New Orleans, and Mississippi. We want to help spread the word about some local groups making a difference right here at home:

💗Krewe de Pink is a nonprofit based in New Orleans that raises money for breast cancer research at Tulane Cancer Center. They provide ways to donate, volunteer, and events to support the cause.
💗The Pink Ribbon Fund helps women and men in the Pine Belt with medical costs after a breast cancer diagnosis.
💗 Louisiana Breast & Cervical Health Program provides no-cost mammograms across Louisiana for those who qualify

Want to get involved? Mark your calendar for these local events:

💗Live Well Northshore on Oct. 17th: taking place at the Covington Trailhead with free cancer screenings (appointment required)
💗Pink Dress Run on Oct. 17th: in Gulfport, MS is a 5k that supports local breast cancer patients
💗Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Central Mississippi on Oct. 24th: fundraiser walk that's held at Flowood Liberty Park
