🔑 1. CONTINGENCY
A condition written into a real estate contract that must be met for certain contractual obligations to continue. Examples may include financing or an acceptable appraisal.

🏡 2. APPRAISAL
An estimate of a home’s market value, typically ordered by the lender to help determine whether the property supports the loan amount.

💵 3. ESCROW
Money or documents held by a neutral third party until certain contract conditions are met. The term can also refer to an account used to pay property taxes and homeowners insurance.

📉 4. MORTGAGE POINTS
Fees you may pay upfront to a lender to reduce your mortgage interest rate. Whether points make sense depends on your loan, costs, and how long you plan to keep it.

✨ BONUS TIP: The listing price isn’t always the final price, and getting pre-approved doesn’t guarantee final loan approval. Every detail matters!

We’ve definitely been getting our share of rain this week! 😂 But you know what? A little rain isn’t stopping these showings! 🏡☔️

So grab that rain jacket, put on your shoes, and let’s go do something productive today! There’s no reason to let the weather stop us from moving forward. 💪🏼

And it reminds me of something I love about the book of Philippians—often called the happiest, most joy-filled book of the Bible, yet Paul wrote it while he was in prison.

That’s a reminder that our joy doesn’t have to depend on our circumstances. We can choose joy, keep moving, and keep trusting God—even when the conditions aren’t perfect. ❤️

✨ A LITTLE ABOUT ME ✨

If you’re new here, I wanted to share a little bit about the woman behind the Realtor sign! 🏡💕

I’m a proud mom of 6 — 5 girls and 1 boy — and my family is a huge part of who I am. Being a mom has taught me patience, compassion, perseverance, and most importantly, the importance of having a place you can truly call home.

My faith is also at the center of everything I do. 🙏🏼 I’m a Lead Nursery Worker at my church and an Ambassador for our WILD team — Women Inspired to Lead & Disciple. I love serving, encouraging women, and helping others grow in their faith.

I’m also blessed to be involved with nonprofits in the Baytown area, including Elsy’s Sunflower Seeds and Alicia’s Blessings, because giving back to my community is something that means so much to me.

And then there’s real estate! I absolutely LOVE helping people find a home that fits their dreams, their family, and their next chapter. Whether it’s your very first home, your forever home, or a new beginning, I’m here to walk beside you through the process.
