3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) is a 3D reconstruction and rendering technique. Compared to traditional mesh models, 3DGS fully preserves slender structures, hollow openings, and fine textures, while also delivering greater accuracy in restoring complex geometric shapes. It overcomes the challenge of high-precision modeling in complex power grid equipment scenarios, ushering in a "high-definition era" for power grid equipment modeling and providing a solid data foundation for precise inspection.

From the streets of Chile to the point cloud β€” GVI technology is getting hands-on in South America.

Our Sales Manager for South America, Paulo, recently conducted a hands-on demonstration in Chile, showcasing the LiAir X4 Plus handheld mode, LiGrip SE, and GreenValley software solutions.

Customers experienced the complete workflow firsthand β€” from flexible LiDAR data capture in the field to point cloud processing and analysis.

And the response? Strong interest and great feedback.

Capture. Process. Deliver.
One end-to-end LiDAR workflow from field data to practical results.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us in Chile. More demos, more projects, and more GreenValley technology are coming to Latin America!

Scan to BIM | Episode 2: A 3-Storey Building in One Continuous Scan
How efficiently can a complex multi-storey building be captured and turned into usable 3D data?
In the second episode of our Thailand partner Payo's Scan to BIM series, the LiGrip O2 was put to the test in a three-storey building filled with narrow corridors, staircases, tight corners, and multiple floor transitions.

The results:
βœ” 163.2 m scanning trajectory
βœ” 8.6 min field capture
βœ” 3.2 min SLAM processing in LiDAR360MLS
βœ” 33.6 min complete workflow, including filtering and colorization
βœ” 99.13% of points within the 0–1 cm relative accuracy range

The final point cloud maintains clear floor parallelism, sharp wall outlines, and stable reconstruction across multiple levels.

But Scan to BIM is about more than creating a 3D model.
It's about turning a physical building into measurable, reusable, and deliverable digital data through an end-to-end LiDAR workflow.
Capture with LiGrip O2.
Process with LiDAR360MLS.
Move from reality capture toward BIM-ready deliverables.

Great work by Payo for putting the workflow through another real-world test. More from the Scan to BIM series coming soon.

For years, safety management during large machinery construction has been plagued by three critical shortcomings: blurred perception, inaccurate judgment, and sluggish response.
Today, I'd like to introduce a solution purpose-built for near-electricity operations β€” the "Intelligent Sentinel": LiProtect G1.
Its core value lies in closing the entire "Perception–Analysis–Alert" loop:
πŸ›‘ Multi-Dimensional Perception
Integrated LiDAR constructs high-precision 3D spatial models, while high-definition industrial cameras enable visual identification. Working in tandem, they deliver 24/7 coverage with zero blind spots β€” day or night.
⚑ Edge Computing
On-device AI performs instantaneous distance measurement and trajectory behavior analysis, enabling true zero-latency alerts without relying on cloud round-trips.
🌐 Intelligent Networking
Front-end devices synchronize seamlessly with the backend management platform in real time, empowering supervisors with a real-time, visualized remote command center for full operational oversight.
Technology is transforming near-electricity safety from a reactive gamble into a proactive certainty.

We're not here to claim the most complete spatial intelligence ecosystem.
We're here to make spatial data more accessible.

At INTERGEO 2026, we're bringing it all together β€” across reality capture, processing, cloud, and delivery.

Spatial Camera. Millimeter-grade handheld LiDAR. RTK-SLAM. Mobile Mapping. UAV LiDAR. Cloud. Next-generation LiDAR software.

One connected workflow.
From data capture to deliverables.

High temperatures + heavy loads + rapid vegetation growth – this is the annual summer battle every power grid faces.

But this year, things are different – LiAir X4 Plus LiDAR is rewriting the rules:

βœ… 1 hour of scanning = 1 full day of walking the lines

βœ… 3D point clouds bring tree-line clearance, sag variations, and tower tilts into sharp, "visible" focus

βœ… AI + autonomous flight + multi-drone coordination have pushed defect detection accuracy to 98%

The real value of technology isn't how flashy it is – it's about keeping field crews cooler, safer, and off the hottest trails.

Summer isn't going anywhere. But the sweat? That, we can leave to the LiAir X4 Plus.

πŸŽ‰ LiGrip O2 has been nominated for the Wichmann Innovations Award 2026!

We’re excited to share that the GreenValley International LiGrip O2 has been officially nominated for this year’s Wichmann Innovations Award in the Hardware and Software category.
Presented in connection with INTERGEO, the Wichmann Innovations Award recognizes innovations in the geospatial industry based on innovation, user-friendliness, and practical relevance.

For us, this nomination is meaningful recognition of what LiGrip O2 was designed to deliver: making professional 3D reality capture more efficient, accessible, and practical across real-world workflows.

And now, public voting is open.
If you’ve used LiGrip O2, followed its development, or believe in our vision of turning reality capture into spatial intelligence, we’d truly appreciate your support.

People need regular physical check-ups, and power transmission lines need the same. The LiAir H600 Pro airborne LiDAR system, combined with the LiPowerline point cloud analysis software, can perform corridor inspections of river-crossing power lines and output 14 quantitative indicators.

Ex*****on Process
The UAV completes the laser scanning field operation for the river-crossing corridor in a single flight. After acquiring full-coverage point cloud data, the data is imported into the LiPowerline platform for modeling and analysis, simultaneously outputting 14 quantitative indicators that cover core risk dimensions such as tower foundation stability, clearance distance, wind deflection trajectory, and tree-line conflicts.

Key Outcomes
Centimeter-level settlement monitoring β€” captures micro-changes in tower foundations from tens of thousands of coordinate points and issues early warnings.
Dynamic clearance calculation β€” combines real-time water levels and vessel heights to precisely compute the minimum safe distance between conductors and the river surface.
Wind swing simulation β€” models conductor sway trajectories under extreme wind conditions to quantify discharge risks.
Intelligent vegetation statistics β€” automatically identifies hazardous trees and outputs counts, volumes, and associated project costs.

Quantified Benefits
Hazard detection rate increased by 40%
Comprehensive operation and maintenance costs reduced by 30%
