If you are in the mood for German food with an American twist, I highly recommend Valter’s in the Brewery District. They serve lunch and dinner seven days a week and a fabulous brunch on both weekend days. My friends and I dined this week on sauerkraut balls, schnitzel served with spatzle pasta and a dish called kasepatzle, which is spatzle and polish sausage in a cheese sauce. Dinner was fantastic. You must also add Valter’s to your weekend brunch spots. My favorites are the sausage omelet, corned beef hash and their blueberry pancakes. You will not be disappointed!!!!
