joined him in 1957. In 1957 McMurphy also formed Imperial Homes in Baton Rouge, a pre-fab homebuilding company. In 1960, AJ McMurphy Homes expanded to the Mississippi Gulf Coast and soon established itself developing communities such as Ancient Oaks, etc. AJ “Bo” McMurphy III joined the team in 1995 creating the 3rd generation of building homes.
