Real estate isn’t always closings, new listings, happy clients and “SOLD!” signs. 🏡✨

Some weeks are just… a lot. 😂

This week I showed 15 houses to a brand-new client, only to have them decide they’re going to wait until spring. Totally understandable—but after 15 houses, you definitely feel that one. 😅

Then I had listing photos scheduled for TODAY… and my seller had to postpone for the second time. 🤦‍♀️

And just when I thought I had another listing coming up next month, that client decided to hold off until November.

So yeah… not exactly the week I had pictured. 😂

But that’s real estate. There are LOTS of ups, downs, curveballs and moving targets to navigate. You celebrate the wins, roll with the punches, keep showing up and remind yourself that sometimes “not now” doesn’t mean “not ever.”

This job is definitely NOT for the faint of heart! ❤️🏡

So I’m going to call it a week, reset, regroup… and I’m thinking an extra glass (or 3) of wine might be required this weekend. 🍷😂

Cheers to the good weeks, the frustrating weeks, and everything in between! 🥂

Today at closing, I was handed a bottle of wine… and it wasn’t from my seller or the buyer. It was from the BUYER’S AGENT who
I had just completed the deal with. 🥂

As a Realtor, I work with A LOT of characters. 😂 Some are absolutely amazing and become trusted friends while others I secretly hope will lose my number…lol . 😆

There are always obstacles in every transaction but when you get to work with someone who’s a like-minded, professional, kind, communicative Realtor who sees the big picture, it’s beyond refreshing!

Today was a win for the buyer.
A win for my seller.
And honestly… a win for the Realtors too! 🍾

Deals don’t always have to be stressful or filled with drama. I don’t understand why some agents feel that being arrogant and difficult = strength. So when you get lucky enough to work with someone who gets it you appreciate it ❤️
