Their journey reminds us that it ain’t easy sometimes, especially when buying your first home. But in the end it is all worth it. 😎❤️🏡

There are many steps along the way to buying a home.

1) Finding the right home
2) Winning an offer
3) Getting through inspection and negotiations
4) Working through appraisals and negotiations
5) Clearing title

I’m happy I was able to work through all of it for them and get them to the finish line. 🏁

If you’re selling your home, you cannot overlook these 3 things. They will ruin your chances of getting a good offer!

1) Smells. It is our most power sense and always leaves a bad impression. If your home smells it will not sell.

2) Lighting. Often overlooked but always gets a comment from homebuyers.

3) Cleanliness. If your home is dirty then it leaves homebuyers feeling uncomfortable. They become stiff and don’t walk around as much. They’re afraid to see how bad it is around the corner.

I often hear these things when showing a home that overlooked these steps.

“What is that (smell)?”
“They must have pets.”
“Will that go away if we paint?”
“It’s pretty dark in here.”
“That’s gross!”
