Getting onto a roof is one of the most important things an inspector can do. Sometimes, due to roof pitch and height that isn't possible. Thats why being an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot is so important--and the top of this chimney really highlights why. The peak of this chimney was well over 2 stories off of the ground, the steep roof pitch would have made it a tough climb even with my Cougar Paws, and it wouldn't have done a bit of good because the top still wouldn't have been visible. My drone, however, found this severely deteriorated metal flue liner and cap. Chimney repairs are expensive, and this would be no exception. THIS WAS NOT VISIBLE FROM THE GROUND. Make sure your inspector has all the equipment to inspect all of your house, even the tippy top.

We inspect everything the eye can see, and some of what it cant! When you call to book your inspection, ask about our ancillary services and their pricing! We can perform a home inspection and multiple ancillary services for less than your first months mortgage payment! Why gamble with your real estate investment?

Sometimes, a low spot in a roof isn't "rafter sag" due to years of settlement in a old home. In this case it was a rafter that split at a knot in the wood. You don't catch these sorts of things if you don't walk attics.

𝑰 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒅𝒐!

By the time a client gets to me they are usually exhausted. They've spoken to mortgage lenders, agents, brokers, insurance companies, utility companies, etc, etc. They've spent weeks sometimes months planning and securing their home. Then the anxiety "Did I get a good deal?", "Is the price fair", "Is there something wrong with the house that Im not seeing?" That last one is where I come in. I am there to educate you on every square inch of your purchase. Defects, deferred maintenance, estimated life expectancy of appliances--all of it. And it doesnt stop there, my phone is always open for questions, and theres no time limit on that. When I say call anytime I mean it.

A wise man once told me: "If you provide exceptional service at a fair price, you'll never go without business". I entered this field with that mentality and I am very thankful for what we've built.
