Uber is shifting to drone deliveries as fast as it can, which will save them lots of money when they are able to layoff all of their drivers from Uber Eats.

Amazon (and most other retailers) are getting their trade tariff money refunded. Amazon just got $600 million dollars and says they will give some of that back to customers. In response, customers have filed a class action lawsuit against them to get their money back.

The company previously hadn't disclosed whether it would recoup tariff costs after the Supreme Court ruled many of President Donald Trump's levies were illegal.

The problem is that U.S. retail sales were actually down in July, a not just a little, the biggest decline in over a year. This is what I and many others have been expecting for some time, it had to happen.

Retail today! This is crazy, normally reliable Chain Store Age, who I use often for retail news, reported that U.S. retail sales were up again in July for the 10th straight month.

Mid-summer sales events and early back-to-school deals gave a boost to retail sales in July, which rose for the 10th consecutive month.

This is crazy, if the new tax plan passes in Florida multiple towns in Palm Beach County would become insolvent. I am sure there are plenty more around the state that would face the same fate if it passes.

A poll of economists are very concerned about inflation and the fact that it looks like it will continue to keep interest rates high for quite a while.

Economy on the menu today! There is no question that interest rates should be raised given the inflation we are dealing with. The only question is will they?? We will find out later this month.

The new amendment 3 tax plan language has been rewritten. It hasn't been challenged again so now the only question is whether or not residents will vote for it. We will soon find out.
