Some stories in life just come full circle in the most beautiful way.

The beautiful bay gelding you see in all my photos, on my signs, and the very first cutting horse I ever tossed a leg over officially started a new chapter yesterday. And honestly… being part of this entire journey coming to fruition has been something really special to witness.

What started as helping my wonderful sellers, Marc and Cindy, sell their home turned into so much more than just another transaction. During a tour at another one of my listings, I listened to the vision the buyers had. (Even though they were not my buyers) I listened to their hearts, what they wanted to build, and the purpose behind it all. The moment I spoke with Marc and Cindy about their place, I just knew this property in Cross Roads was the fit.

And it absolutely was.

Not only did I gain amazing clients through this process, but the buyers’ agents and buyers themselves have become people I truly consider friends. The Freeman family has some of the most beautiful souls. They are the kind of people who are constantly looking for ways to serve others, pour into their community, and make a difference where it matters most.

Through their nonprofit, Stay In The Fight, ol’ Newt has now been given a new assignment for a while… helping be part of that mission.

To think the horse that started my cutting journey, the one that has stood behind so many signs and milestones with me, now gets to serve in a completely different way for such an incredible cause… it just feels bigger than real estate. Bigger than horses. Bigger than all of it.

Sometimes God has a way of connecting people, places, and purpose better than we ever could ourselves.

And getting to watch that happen firsthand has been pretty dang special.

Hedges' Farm, LLC is a family-owned 40-acre farm located at 12808 FM 901 in Sadler, Texas, between Sadler and Gordonville in Grayson County.

Their farm stand is located right on the property and offers fresh A2/A2 Jersey milk, seasonal produce, and other locally produced items.

Fresh milk is restocked every Friday evening, and the cows are milked right before pickup.
