Big things are happening in Bonham, and we're excited to be part of the story!

A big thank you to KXII for featuring Powder Creek Ranch and highlighting the exciting growth taking place in our community. As Bonham's first master-planned community, Powder Creek Ranch is helping welcome a new generation of families looking for the perfect place to call home.

The momentum doesn't stop there. The historic Sam Rayburn Building on the downtown square is being transformed into Bonham's new Visitor Center and Chamber headquarters—a place where residents and visitors can learn more about everything our community has to offer, including Powder Creek Ranch. It's another exciting investment in Bonham's future and a reflection of the pride this community has in its history and what's ahead.

With small-town charm, growing amenities, great schools, and exciting new opportunities, Bonham is quickly becoming one of North Texas' best places for families to put down roots.

The Bonham Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon Saturday morning on Asher Oaks, a 78-lot residential development in the heart of town — one of the city’s first planned neighborhoods in decades.

What began in 1955 as a friendly competition among local cowboys, started by Haynes Kueckelhan while he was in college, has grown into a celebrated family tradition. For 70 years, the Kueckelhan family has hosted this annual event on their working ranch, welcoming thousands of spectators from across the United States—and even around the world—to experience genuine Western heritage and exciting rodeo competition.

Another reason why Bonham is the coolest place on Earth... 🧶✨
I'm just learning how to crochet, so naturally I saw "Fiber Arts Show" and thought, Yep, I'm in! 😂
But wait... there's FAT QUARTER BINGO?! Now you really have my attention.
The 2026 Bonham Quilt Hop & Fiber Arts Show is happening July 24–25 from 10 AM–4 PM, and admission is FREE! You'll find more than 300 quilts displayed across 12 locations throughout Bonham, along with craft vendors, free demonstrations, museums, shopping, great local restaurants, and even a winery stop.
Whether you're a lifelong quilter, a fellow crochet beginner like me, or just looking for a unique weekend adventure, this sounds like one of those events that makes Bonham so special.
Who's going with me? And more importantly... who can teach me how to keep my crochet stitches the same size? 😂🧶
