Incorporating the historic First Christian Church into The Province was an intentional decision to retain a meaningful piece of Boulder’s built environment while adapting the site for student housing. The project balances preservation with practical design, allowing the existing structure to remain part of the neighborhood as the property takes on a new purpose.

Chanin Development was the developer of The Province project, completed in 2014.

The Province, completed in 2014, is a Boulder student housing community developed with Chanin Development that integrates new construction with the historic First Christian Church near campus.
