The colder weather and shorter days can easily bring on the winter blues. If you’re feeling a little down this season, you’re not alone. Here are a few tips for tackling the winter blues:
- Even if it’s too cold to go outside, open your blinds during the day to let in the sun.
- Eat foods full of vitamin D like salmon, eggs yolks, and fortified foods including orange juice, soy milk, and cow’s milk.
- Stick to your sleep schedule. It can be easy to get out of rhythm with shorter days but there are endless benefits to keeping to your regular sleep schedule.
