Buying a home can get emotional fast, so this is the kind of advice I’d give my best friend every single time.

Don’t rush because everyone around you seems to be buying.

Don’t stretch your budget just to get the house that looks perfect online.

And definitely don’t let one gorgeous kitchen make you overlook the things you can’t easily change... like the location, layout, or how the home actually fits your life.

The goal isn’t to find the house that photographs the best.

It’s to make a move that still feels good long after closing day.
