Please read and share on all your social networks. All elections are important, but this one is especially critical and far too many registered voters don’t bother to vote. Don’t be one of them!
EARLY VOTING STARTS MONDAY, MAY 18 and LASTS UNTIL FRIDAY, MAY 22.
Please help your team, members, neighbors, and community make a plan to vote.
Key dates:
Friday, May 15: Last day to apply for a ballot by mail. Applications must be received by this date.
Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22: Early voting for the Texas primary runoffs.
Tuesday, May 26: Primary Runoff Election Day.
WHAT’S A RUNOFF?
A Texas runoff election happens when no candidate in a specific March primary race receives more than 50% of the vote. The top two candidates compete again, and the winner moves forward to the November ballot.
Did you know that your vote in May has 27 times more power than in November?
Quick Rule Reminder:
If you voted in the March primary, you must vote in the same party’s runoff.
If you didn’t vote in the March primary, you can choose either party’s runoff.
