Thank you to everyone who joined us for the grand opening of Drawing The Line, the first solo exhibition of AYB artist Ajani Russell ( ) at the Gallery at 180 Franklin Avenue.
Bringing together a decade-long body of drawings, the exhibition explores line as a record of experience and a way of making the internal world visible. Through drawing, mixed media, and site-responsive installation, Russell’s work moves between memory, observation, imagination, and the environments we inhabit.
Drawing The Line is on view through November 17, 2026, at 180 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
The gallery is always open to building residents! AYB Advanced Studio artmaking sessions take place in the space from 6–8 PM. All are welcome to register — sessions are free, and art materials are provided.
Thank you for celebrating this special moment with us — and if you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time to experience the exhibition.
