It’s that time of year again… property tax bills are going out! 🏡📬 And this year, you may notice a little surprise on yours — hopefully a GOOD one!

Georgia’s 2026 Homeowner Tax Relief Grant may provide eligible homeowners with a one-time property tax credit. But how it shows up — and how much it actually saves you — can look different depending on where you live.

I’ve put together a simple breakdown for Barrow, Jackson, Walton, Gwinnett, and Hall Counties so you can see what applies in your county, along with other homestead exemptions you may want to know about.

One important thing to remember: this is a one-time 2026 tax relief credit. So enjoy the savings this year — just don’t mistake it for a permanent reduction! 🏡💰
