Sometimes I say to myself, “ordinary Realtors don’t post content like this.”

And then I remember I’ve never really wanted to do real estate the “ordinary” way anyway.

This picture was taken during a showing when my buyer’s little boy decided he wanted me to hold him. So… naturally, I finished the showing with a toddler on my hip. 😂

And honestly, this feels a lot more representative of my career than a perfectly posed headshot ever could.

Real estate is personal. I’m walking through homes with your kids, hearing about your plans, learning what matters to your family, talking through big financial decisions, and sometimes apparently providing childcare during the showing. 😂

I know the numbers. I know the contracts. I know the market. But knowing my clients matters just as much.

I don’t think professionalism has to mean being overly polished or impersonal. You can be really good at what you do and still show up as an actual person.

That’s always felt a lot more like me.

Some of my real estate dreams are practical—like lockboxes that cooperate and sellers having plenty of time between homes.

Others involve finishing an entire chapter by the pool without being interrupting my husbands underwater breath-holding experiment. 😂

But the dream that matters most? Handing someone the keys and watching it sink in: the search is over, the paperwork is finished and this place is finally theirs.

I never take for granted that I get to be part of that moment.
