A popular book in schools is "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Doctor Seuss. As an educator for over 25 years, I've always enjoyed hearing about where my former students "go" after high school. Back in 2015, when I was still a school counselor at Pine River High School, I ran into Lucas, one of my former students, while taking students on a tour of Ferris State University. Lucas was working on his accounting degree and running track, and it was a joy to bump into him and get a picture. Late last year, Lucas contacted me to help him find a home in the area. Last month, he closed on a home and tonight he took possession! Lucas' has always had what I call the "keys to success," hard work and a good attitude. Now, he has the keys to a beautiful home! Thank you for the opportunity to help you in a different way, Lucas. I look forward to seeing where you "go" next!

Pages on the calendar turned as miles were walked, faces were frozen, shoes were soaked, and laughs were had. Helping Justin and Lucy find this beautiful location was challenging and fun. Here are April market stats for the Cadillac area. Overall, there are more houses on the market, and the prices of homes don't seem to be rising at the rate we were seeing a year or two ago. The market is more balanced, meaning sellers can still do well if they sell now, but buyers have more options and maybe have gained back a little power in negotiations. Fun post! When I was a kid, Castle Grayskull was the one toy I remember not getting for Christmas! I recently spotted one while showing some clients a house. Had they put in an offer on that house, I would have insisted that we write in Castel Grayskull as being included in the sale! I found them a listing that better fit their needs, but I'm still without a castle! :) What toy do you remember missing out on?

Buy a Jeep they said (bad advice taken). Don’t take that driveway they said (good advice not taken)! The day started out a little rough, but it turned out great! It took twelve hours and 20,000 steps, but it featured good conversations with good people, tasty food at the Chase Creek Smokehouse, and sightings of deer, turkeys, cranes, and sunshine! The best days in Northern Michigan are directly ahead!

I've heard of big price drops, but this one takes the cake!

The infamous Albuquerque home of "Breaking Bad" Walter White is back on the market after a $3.6 million price cut. Originally listed at $3.99 million in January 2025, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom property now asks just $400,000, slightly above its estimated value.
