I honestly don’t even know how to put into words what today means to me. One year ago, I opened the doors to Holly’s Bakery not knowing exactly what this first year would bring. And now, looking back at everything this little bakery has been a part of, I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude.
Over the past year, you’ve trusted me with birthday cakes, wedding cakes, baby showers, anniversaries, graduations, holidays, “just because” treats, morning coffees, cinnamon roll runs and SO many special moments in between. I’ve gotten to watch familiar faces become regulars, meet new people every week, and see creations that started in my kitchen become a small part of your families’ memories. That is something I will never take for granted.
To every person who has walked through my door, placed an order, grabbed a coffee, bought a cookie, shared one of my posts, recommended Holly’s to a friend, or simply told me, “This is so good”—thank you. Every single purchase, big or small, has helped keep these doors open and allowed me to keep doing something I truly love.
Owning a bakery is a LOT. 😂 There have been ridiculously early mornings, very late nights, mistakes, lessons, happy tears, stressful tears, more butter than I care to calculate, and moments when I’ve stood back and thought, I can’t believe this is actually mine. But the biggest thing I feel is proud and incredibly thankful.
Holly’s Bakery is ONE. 🥹🎂 And there would be no Holly’s Bakery without all of you who have supported this little business over the past year.
Thank you for letting me bake for you. Thank you for trusting me with your celebrations. Thank you for coming back. And thank you for giving this little bakery such an amazing first year. 💞
