We might have to sacrifice the green grass for a while. Starting this week, you can only irrigate your lawn once a week if you get water from Lee County utilities. Almost all of Southwest Florida is in a severe drought and aquifers throughout the state are low for this point in the year.

I always recommend to my buyer clients to consider the surrounding area they are buying in. If there’s open land, even if it’s “preserved” or “protected” there’s a possibility the land use could change. This sounds like it could be a beautiful development but loosing the look of the Cape Coral we know today can be heartbreaking. Especially for those who live in the direct area. However, amenities nearby can increase the desirability and value for future buyers. What are your thoughts on this Redfish Pointe plan?
