Is the Arizona boom officially over? 🌵

A new migration report from Atlas reveals a major shift: for the first time in years, more people are leaving Arizona than moving in.

The Stat: 57% of interstate moves involving AZ this year were outbound—the highest rate since 2016.

The Reason: Affordability. Surging housing costs and a rising cost of living have faded Arizona’s reputation as a "budget-friendly escape" from places like California.

Are you seeing more moving trucks packing up than unpacking in your neighborhood?

A state of transplants? Maybe, but not as much as it used to be.

⚡️ SRP Winter On-Peak Hours Are Here! ⚡️

SRP (Salt River Project) has switched to winter on-peak hours, now in effect Nov 1 – May 1.

⏰ On-Peak Hours:
Weekdays, 5–9 AM and 5–9 PM
💡 Electricity costs more during these times.

To keep your bill lower, try shifting energy use to off-peak hours:
🏊‍♂️ Run your pool pump overnight or midday.
🌡️ Adjust thermostat schedules so heating or cooling runs more before or after peak hours.
🍽️ Use dishwashers, laundry, or other major appliances during off-peak times.
🔌 Consider setting timers or smart plugs to help automate your schedule.

A few simple adjustments can help you save all winter long!
