One of the biggest questions I hear from people relocating to Charleston is: “Where should we actually live?”

And the answer isn’t the same for everyone.

Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, Johns Island, Sullivan’s Island and the Charleston area each offer a very different version of Lowcountry living from walkability and waterfront access to beaches, newer communities, restaurants, commute times and simply how you want your everyday life to feel.

The best closings aren’t always the first ones.

Today we closed on 7030 Lanier Street in Hanahan, SC, but this story actually started years ago when I had the opportunity to help these clients buy this home as their very first home.

Since then, life has changed. Their family has grown, priorities have shifted, and now that first home has helped them move on to their next adventure.

There’s something pretty special about getting to be part of more than one chapter.

Homes are never just about bedrooms, bathrooms or square footage. They’re where life happens and sometimes, they’re the stepping stone to whatever comes next.

But that’s only part of the story.

For my seller, this closing marks the beginning of a new chapter and for the new owners, it’s the start of getting to call Daniel Island home.

And if you’ve ever wondered about condo living on Daniel Island, Pier View is one of those communities worth knowing about.
