Beach Gives Back | After years of extraordinary courage, 4-year-old Luke is getting ready for a well-deserved adventure aboard the “Mickey Boat.” 💙

The Beach Company was honored to host a special Make-A-Wish celebration for Luke and his family as they prepare for his wish to come true: a Disney Cruise! We made sure the celebration was filled with a few of Luke’s favorite things, too, including Chick-fil-A, candy, cheese puffs and plenty of his favorite Disney toys.

After facing a rare childhood cancer diagnosis, countless treatments and a major surgery at just 3 years old, Luke is now thriving. We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in celebrating this joyful chapter and helping send Luke and his family off on the adventure of a lifetime.

Thank you to everyone involved in this celebration, in addition to all the doctors and nurses and MUSC and those on the Make-A-Wish team. 🚢

In 2025, Gulf Stream Construction completed a major renovation of the iconic Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant. A beloved landmark spanning marshes, tidal creeks, and Charleston Harbor, the bridge has long connected the community. As part of the Pitt Street Bridge Micromobility Project, the City of Mount Pleasant selected Gulf Stream Construction to improve the bridge’s safety and resiliency. With a long history of enhancing historic infrastructure and protecting Charleston’s waterways, Gulf Stream brings the same commitment to sustainability that defines The Beach Company.
