Did a quick trip to the Irish open at Doonbeg this past week. Unfortunately, Tommy was under the weather, but we made the best of it. Wednesday We hit The Old Ground Hotel, Kelly’s pub, and the Diamond. Jack got dragged out until 2:30 in the morning with some American girls. We resumed the next night in Lahinch after a day driving the Atlanta Coast highway, and having lunch at monks. The seafood chowder never disappoints. Of course always washed down with a Guinness. Friday we went to the open and saw Rory. The weather was perfect. Almost no wind which is unheard of. Friday night we hit P. Fraughley’s, The cornerstone, the 19th, and Flanagan’s. I always cherish seeing our Irish friends. Thank you to Philip and Emer!
