Today’s real estate market looks different than it did just a few years ago, and sellers are adjusting.

According to Keeping Current Matters, more than 4 in 10 sellers nationally are reducing their asking price. And many other sellers are pricing more realistically from the start rather than testing the market at a higher price.

What does that mean for buyers? Potential opportunity. More inventory and greater seller flexibility may create room to negotiate on price and terms, especially for buyers who have been sitting on the sidelines because of affordability concerns.
