It’s always fascinating to see just how much luxury home sales can differ from one US city to the next. A recent review of public listings across the country found that top transactions ranged from $3.7M all the way up to $130M—talk about variety! Some markets saw fifth-place sales still topping $10M, showing just how strong their high-end segments are compared to the rest of the nation. In one area, the five priciest homes sold between $24M and $40M, highlighting a particularly tight range at the very top. These numbers reflect properties marketed through listing systems and might not include private or off-market deals, especially in nondisclosure areas where we see listing prices instead of final sale amounts.
