Twenty years ago, if you wanted to find a house, you might have been carrying around a paper map.
Your listings were printed in MLS books.
You left codes on pagers.
And if you wanted buyers to hear about a property, you literally called a number and listened to a recorded description. Courtney did all of ours. ๐คฃ
Imagine it: No social media. No Zillow. No AI.
Just relationships, hustle, and a whole lot of figuring it out as you went.
When The Premier Team started 20 years ago, we had no idea what the next two decades would bring. We didn't know we'd navigate market crashes, housing booms, interest rate spikes, technology revolutions, and enough industry changes to fill a book.
What we did know was that hard work mattered.
And thank goodness, because there have been plenty of seasons when hard work was ALL you had.
Real estate isn't easy. It never has been.
The tough markets are where teams are tested. They're where agents discover whether they're building something sustainable or simply riding momentum. They're where leadership matters. Systems matter. Culture matters.
Looking back, we're incredibly proud of what we've built...because we've built something that lasted.
Today, The Premier Team is the #5 RE/MAX team in the United States and #10 in the world. But those rankings are simply the result of thousands of conversations, countless client relationships, and a team that kept showing up when it would've been easier not to.
The funny thing about 20 years in real estate is that you realize success isn't about avoiding hard times.
It's about learning how to rise through them.
As we celebrate this milestone, we're feeling grateful for every client, every agent, every challenge, every lesson, and yes... even every paper map.
