Our historic Chaska Commons brick building has been on quite a journey since it was built in the late 1800s!

Originally Muyres Hardware, plumbing, HVAC and lumber supply in those early days. M.H. Muyres immigrated to Minnesota from the Netherlands in 1861. He established the downtown hardware store and lumberyard in 1881. In 1892, the store expanded and an attached tin repair shop (tinnery) was run by Matt Muyres.

The business was a staple of early Chaska commerce for many builders and residents when the community was being established. This building has had many more businesses since and we are happy to be a part of the story today.

➡ 4-7 p.m.
