Chesterfield County isn’t just one vibe. 🌳🏡

One thing I think people don’t realize until they spend time here is just how different the areas within Chesterfield can feel.
In some parts, you’ll find mature trees, established neighborhoods, winding roads and larger lots that feel tucked away.

In others, it’s newer construction, community pools, trails and neighborhood amenities.

Then you have areas where you’re close to restaurants, shopping and everyday conveniences, while other parts give you more space and a quieter, more open feel.

And that’s why I think choosing a home here is about more than just the house.

It’s about asking:
🌳 Do I want mature trees and an established neighborhood?
🏘️ Do I prefer newer homes and community amenities?
🛍️ Do I want shopping and restaurants close by?

🎣 4 Fishing Spots to Explore Around RVA 🌊

Looking for a new place to cast a line? Richmond and the surrounding area have no shortage of rivers, lakes, parks, and fishing access points to explore.

Here are a few local spots to check out:

1. Pony Pasture: the classic James River spot! Anglers target smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and trophy catfish.
2. Ancarrow’s Landing: solid bank fishing near downtown, known for catfish, striped bass, white perch, and bass.
3. Robious Landing Park: quieter, weekday vibes with smaller catfish on the south side of the river.
4. Echo Lake Park: relaxed and family friendly, with its own fishing lake.
