Aliza Dash, Senior Real Estate Associate at Hammond RE I have been Realtor for decades in the Greater Boston area. I provide guidance to buyers and sellers, both first timers and those more experienced.

If you want to work with someone who will guide you through the process with as little stress as possible I believe that honesty and integrity create long-lasting and successful business relationships. In 1999, Aliza began her real estate career in Greater Boston. Prior to real estate, I worked at Smith Barney and at State Street Bank. My financial background has been an asset to her clients in real estate. I enjoy my work, which makes it a pleasure for me to market properties for my seller clients or to help my buyer clients pursue their perfect home. I am a skilled negotiator and I understand the nuances of buying a home in a competitive market or selling a home and getting my clients the best and most solid deal. Along with my years of dedication to the profession. My knowledge of the real estate market, combined with my community knowledge, gives my clients an advantage in achieving their goals. Many of my friends are my clients and many of my clients have become friends. My combination of cheerful persistence and superior communication skills enable her to deliver results for both sellers and buyers of residential properties. I try to make the stressful process of home-buying or selling a pleasant experience through humor, good business practices, and integrity. I enjoy establishing relationships with my clients, getting to know their needs, their like and dislikes, and therefore helping them find the perfect home for them. I believe that in such a competitive market it is essential to have a buyers' agent who knows the local market, local agents, and will negotiate for the best terms to secure a home. Many of my clients are referrals. I also have had many repeat customers and even the children of previous clients. I grew up in NYC where I attended The Bronx HS of Science. My 3 children all attended Brookline Public schools, and my eldest also attended Cambridge elementary school. My eldest son followed my footsteps and is a Property/ community Manager and Realtor in Charleston SC, my youngest is a Senior at the College of Charleston, and my daughter is presently working on her dissertation in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My husband, Nicholas Salzman is a Project Manager for a Start-up. Finally my colleague, Elissa Rogovin and I are focusing on utilizing our SRES, a designation we have earned to help us assist seniors with their next move. This is terrific! With so much underused office space in Boston—and such a shortage of housing—I’ve been talking about converting office buildings to residential use for years. For a long time, everyone said it was simply too difficult and too expensive. Maybe that’s finally changing!
As the co-founder of Elder Moves Real Estate, I’m especially focused on the shortage of appropriate housing for older adults. I would love to see some of these new developments include units specifically designed for people 65+, with accessibility and aging in place incorporated into the design from the beginning.
Imagine a building that intentionally brings together young families, downsizers, older adults, and people who need affordable housing, rather than separating everyone into different communities.
I think creating truly diverse, intergenerational communities gives people more opportunities to connect, support one another, and build a real sense of neighborhood. Why not build communities for all stages of life?

When buying a house you think about a playroom for your kids, a study so you can work at home, a den/family room so you can relax together and watch your favorite Netflix shows. Have you thought about a room for your Pups? I thought this was very funny and thought I would share.

Fun Fact Friday is going to the dogs! 🐶 I have a dog and have always had dogs. The joy and laughter and companionship they bring me is irreplaceable! But, when I moved halfway across the country, my dog was in the backseat of the car.

Recently, I did some travelling ✈️​ and was amazed at the canine companions that flew in first class. 🧐 They were quite literally, flying fancier than I was. This led me down a path of searching the world wide web for luxury dog houses. 🏠 And, oh boy, do they exist.

I'll start with an interior dog house an owner built for his dog under the stairs of his house. It has a fireplace, 🔥 a flat screen TV, 📺​ a fish tank, 🐠​ and a retractable bed for sleepovers. The front door facade is stone with a welcome mat and porchlights. I would totally live there. Is it nicer than my apartment? Yes, yes it is.
