Apparently my camera roll is a pretty accurate description of what it’s like to be a Realtor. 😂

Houses. Lots of houses.
Screenshots I’m convinced I’ll need later.
Random notes to myself.
Paint colors. Light fixtures. Weird things I find in houses.
Photos I took because “I need to remember this.”
And probably a dog photo or two mixed in for good measure. 🐶

It’s definitely not all pretty listing photos and smiling closing pictures. Most days are a very random mix of houses, people, problems to solve and a whole lot of things happening behind the scenes.

The side of being a Montgomery County Realtor you don’t see. 🤫

The closing photo is the easy part.

What you don’t see are the dozens of phone calls, the problems that get handled before they become bigger problems, the conversations no one really wants to have, the last-minute changes, the strategy, the prep and all of the little decisions happening behind the scenes.

Sometimes it starts months before a home ever hits the market. And it definitely doesn’t end when we get a contract.

A smooth transaction doesn’t mean nothing went wrong. Most of the time, it means a whole lot went on behind the scenes that you never had to worry about.

And honestly, that’s the job.

Finding the right home in Montgomery County has very little to do with luck. 🍀

The buyers I’m able to help the most are usually the ones who tell me the real stuff early.

Not just how many bedrooms they want or what neighborhoods they’re considering.

I want to know what you’re actually comfortable spending. What makes you nervous about buying. What you really want in your next home, even if you think it might be unrealistic. And just as importantly, what you absolutely do not want to compromise on.

Because my job isn’t simply to find you a house.

It’s to help you figure out which house, which neighborhood, and which financial decision actually make sense for your life.

Being a REALTOR® can look pretty easy when everything goes according to plan.
But that’s not really when you need a great agent.

It’s when the appraisal comes in low. The inspection gets messy. A buyer gets nervous. Or something completely unexpected pops up and suddenly the deal feels very different than it did 24 hours ago. 👀

That’s when my job becomes a whole lot more than checking boxes and managing deadlines.

My job is to help you understand what’s actually happening, talk through your options, figure out the best next move, and keep the transaction moving forward without adding more stress to an already stressful situation.

Of course I love a smooth transaction. Who doesn’t?

But after 13 years in real estate, I know the real value of having the right agent isn’t when everything is easy.

It’s when it isn’t.

**Selling “as is” doesn’t mean selling “as it sits.”** 👀

You can absolutely sell your home as is.

But skipping repairs after you’re under contract and skipping preparation before you hit the market are two very different things.

Clean. Decluttered. Well cared for. Well presented.

Those things still matter to buyers, and they can absolutely show up in your offers.

**As is and as presented are NOT the same thing.**
