If we’re in the city and you’re asking us to pick up lunch, be prepared for us to end up at Small Cheval.

I was a regular when I lived in Bucktown, and I don’t *not* plan my route to showings around where I can stop in the city. And with a location in Wilmette too, it’s just too good to skip.

Burgers, fries, and shakes? C’mon.

I know. Weird thing to hear from a realtor.

I’d rather tell you renting makes sense than talk you into buying a house you’re not ready for.

Renting isn’t throwing money away. You’re paying for a place to live, some flexibility, and the luxury of calling someone else when the furnace decides to quit in February.

There are plenty of times when renting can be the better move. Maybe you think you’ll relocate in the next couple of years. Maybe your income is still changing. Or maybe you’re discover which part of the city is right for your lifestyle.

Owning a home can be a great goal. It just doesn’t have to happen right now.

Thinking about moving before the end of the year?

A lot of people assume the hardest part is finding the house, but once the right home comes along, things can move quickly. The bigger piece is making sure everything is lined up before you get there.
