📢 TENANT-BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE RFP OPPORTUNITY 📢

The City of Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) Homeless Services Division is pleased to announce the release of the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance RFP.

DFSS is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to administer rental subsidies for up to two years for low-income renters who previously experienced homelessness, are exiting Rapid Re-Housing, and need additional assistance to avoid a return to homelessness. Qualified respondents should have experience administering financial assistance, including rental assistance, security deposits, and utility payments.

The Tenant-Based Rental Assistance program is a pilot initiative funded with one-time HOME-ARP funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This RFP aims to help vulnerable individuals and families maintain stable housing and navigate the critical transition away from homelessness.
