Safia is one of our on-staff paralegals. She's also worked in a lot of shared spaces before Amata, and not all of them felt like somewhere she belonged.

Here's the part that actually matters: it's not that AI got smarter. It's that it finally respects the rules law firms already have — ethical walls, matter permissions, client confidentiality. For years, that was the whole argument against using AI in legal work. Once the guardrails are built in, adoption speeds up fast.

The firms getting left behind won't be the ones that adopted slowly. They'll be the ones with no plan for AI at all.
